The student can receive an enrollment referral to TYWLS of Queens. The appropriate Guidance Counselor will schedule an interview with students and guardians, gather documents, see if TYWLSQ can support needs, and decide based on capacity, meeting, and fit.

Admission to TYWLS

Through the Myschools application: Incoming 6th and 9th graders can attend TYWLS by utilizing the Myschools website and applying with their school during 5th and 8th grade. The waitlist is open until September, and they can be offered a seat depending on availability and their position on the waitlist.

 

After September

The student can be assigned to TYWLS by the Family Welcome Center. Prospective students must visit the FWC with their parent/guardian.
