Welcome! I am, Ms. Galimi, the High School Counselor at TYWLS of Queens. I began at TYWLS as a first year school counselor in September of 2022. I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology and minor in Student Services at CUNY Queens College. I completed my Masters in School Counseling at CUNY Queens College as well with a background in behavioral therapy, special education, college counseling and student affairs. My passion is working with high schoolers to reach their goals through career readiness using data driven and individualized methods. I am proud to be the first woman in my family to receive a college and Masters degree hoping to inspire and be inspired by our students daily.
My role: I am the High School Counselor at TYWLS of Queens. My role is to support your child with any social, emotional and academic concern they are having. I work on anything that focuses on career readiness, internships, and what students need to graduate on time. I track academic, career social and emotional progress to help them reach their goals. Anything with SATs and College applications is Ms. Ameer, our Director of College Counseling Contact Our College Counselor.
